That's the question megastar Samuel L Jackson is asking. Despite our male ego telling us otherwise, our gym-honed bodies aren't infallible to the same aches, pains and unexpected growths that befall every other man.

Although our male pride is telling us otherwise, talking about your health worries, be it to a close friend over a pint or a doctor over an appointment, creates an environment where men come to terms with their health and get checked if there's a problem. The more men talk, the more men survive.
Health is more than fitness. As Jackson famously said, the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides. As a gender, we've got to work together and speak up if there's a health problem we can't deal with in the squat rack. But don't take our word for it, take Sam's.
